What is Comedy Feast, exactly?
Comedy Feast takes place in Lincoln Castle and combines three of life’s greatest pleasures; eating, drinking and laughing.
Taking places on June 9th/10th/11th, Comedy Feast is jam-packed with headline comedy performances from some of the best names in British comedy, accompanied by an outstanding selection of the UK’s best pop-up restaurants; from London’s best burger joint to award-winning meat-free eateries - prepare for some mind-blowing food!
This is all accompanied by craft beer, real ales, cocktails, the Joyful Jockey gin garden, artisan coffee and live music across the weekend. The perfect summer social gathering!
Where is it?
It all takes places in the grounds of Lincoln’s stunning 11th century castle.
I want to just access The Feast, is this possible?
Yes! If comedy isn’t your thing, don’t despair, you can access the castle grounds, Feast, bars and live entertainment for only £3. Tickets for each comedy show are sold separately. Please note: you do NOT need to purchase a £3 ticket if you’ve purchased a comedy show ticket, as Feast and castle entry is included as part of all comedy show tickets.
What does a comedy show ticket entitle me to?
All comedy show tickets give you access to both the comedy show of your choice, plus the castle, The Feast, all the speciality bars, live music and entertainment.
Where are the headline comedy shows?
These shows will take place in the Comedy Feast Auditorium, in the grounds of the castle. Capacity is limited, so please purchase your ticket in advance.
Do I need to bring seating?
Nope, all seating is provided.
When should I arrive?
We’d recommend you come for the day - try lots of amazing food and drink, relax in the grounds of Lincoln Castle, then watch a comedy show from some of the UK’s finest talents. Sounds like a great day, right?
When does it open and close?
On Friday we open between 5pm and 11pm, whilst on Saturday and Sunday we open from 11am to 11pm. Please see our schedule page for precise timings.
Will there be music?
Yes, they’ll be live music and DJs across the weekend, providing a sonic backdrop for your food munching and drink sipping. This isn’t a club though, it’s music to socialise too, so expect soul, disco, funk, jazz and classic hip hop.

Is there disabled access?
Yes, the castle and event is suitable for wheelchair access
Where can I park?
Any of Lincoln’s Bailgate car parks are very close to the castle, however most of Lincoln’s central car parks are a just a short walk away.
Can I buy a ticket on the day?
You’ll be able to buy tickets for the castle and The Feast on the day, however advance tickets cost less. Comedy shows, however, are likely to sell out in advance. We’d recommend booking these asap.
Are there any concessions?
Yes, there are some concessions which grant free access to the Feast, however all headline comedy shows require a ticket.
Concession are available to:
- OAP’s (with a valid Senior Citizen card)
- Children under 16 (when accompanied with an adult).
- Carers accompanying someone with a disability
- Anyone who has bought a ticket to any of the other castle attractions for that weekend, such as the medieval walk
There are no concessions for headline comedy shows.

Are there any restrictions as to what I can bring in?
There are certain items you are not allowed to bring in, such as food, drink, sharp items etc. Please refer to the Important Information email sent out prior to the event.
Are there any age restrictions?
All comedy shows are 16+ except for Horrible Histories and Bill Bailey. The Horrible Histories show contains blood and mild gore, in their usual comedic but gruesome style.

Is it a family event?
Yes, there’s no age restrictions on entry, however we suggest that comedy shows are 16+. Sunday will be even more family focused, with live shows from the BBC’s award-winning Horrible Histories
What if I have specific requirements regarding disability?
For any disabled persons that need special assistance please make yourself known to a steward when arriving at the main tent door to the Comedy Feast auditorium. Please arrive 20 minutes before show time, with your group, and we will look to seat you as a priority. A maximum group of 4 applies in this situation. For anyone in a wheel chair we will look to seat you at the end of a row.
